Victoria Velazquez is a strategic music manager and creative producer with nearly a decade of experience helping artists, small nonprofits, and creative startups build sustainable infrastructure and drive meaningful cultural impact. Her career is defined by a rare ability to bridge artistic vision with business acumen—equipping creatives with the tools, systems, and strategies they need to thrive in complex, competitive environments.
Grounding her leadership in both creative thinking and disciplined operations is a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Clive Davis Institute, and Master of Arts in Music & Entertainment Business from Berklee College of Music. With expertise spanning business strategy, marketing, fundraising, and production management, Victoria leads initiatives from ideation through execution, consistently delivering innovative, mission-aligned results.
After graduating from NYU in 2018, Victoria co-founded Women of Color on Broadway Inc. (WOCoB), an arts service organization dedicated to celebrating the contributions of black and brown women in musical theater. As Executive Director, she built the organization’s infrastructure from the ground up—developing internal systems, securing multi-year funding, and producing high-impact programming. Under her leadership, WOCoB launched several nationally recognized projects, including the PBS television special House Seats: Women of Color on Broadway , featuring Tony Award winners LaChanze and Melba Moore; the short-film Summertime in partnership with MAC Cosmetics and Playbill, featuring Grammy winner Samara Joy; and #BroadwaySpeaks, a civic engagement campaign in collaboration with Amnesty International USA and Pressed Juicery.
In 2022, Victoria helped relaunch V Productions & Management (VPM) into a management company and consultancy supporting artists, community leaders, and creative entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses with their artistic integrity. Rooted in the belief that creative excellence and entrepreneurial success are deeply interconnected, VPM offers comprehensive services in business management, strategic planning, project management, partnership development, and creative marketing.
Among VPM’s notable collaborations is its work with the community arts and culture initiative, YerrrSpace. VPM provided strategic support in brand positioning, fiscal management, program development, community engagement, and grassroots marketing. Through YerrrSpace, Victoria regularly partners with small businesses and cultural institutions to produce community events, branded activations, and public programs that bridge the arts and local economies. She has led events ranging from educational initiatives, to concerts and community-arts festivals—supporting over 65 small businesses to date. Signature programs include Jackson Hill’s Creepy Corner, a community arts festival presented with the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation to highlight local businesses, and I’m That Gurl, a branded activation featuring Bg.Queen, produced in collaboration with her collective Breaking Grounds to showcase women-owned businesses and visual artists, and The Family Portraits Project, a community-arts program that connects that provides free family photos to local families.
Beyond her management work, Victoria’s consulting portfolio further demonstrates the breadth of her capabilities—she has consulted with the Clive Davis Institute Alumni Council on alumni-student programming, supported launch systems for Stories In My Backyard (SIMBY), a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, and advised Kevorkian Mastering Inc., a Grammy-winning audio engineering studio, on targeted marketing initiatives.
With her creative leadership and professional experience, VPM continues to expand its reach and impact, serving as a trusted partner to clients ready to grow, scale, and lead with purpose. Whether managing grant-funded initiatives, producing cross-sector collaborations, or building operational systems from the ground up, Victoria brings rigor, creativity, and strategic clarity to every engagement. V Productions & Management stands as a reflection of her core values: cultural advancement, artistic empowerment, and economic sustainability. In every project, she brings the perspective of an artist, the discipline of an operator, and the vision of a strategist—qualities that define her as a powerful force in today’s creative economy.
